Founder of eEnterprises International
Our founder, Lizzie Martinez Alvarez, has years of professional experience in teaching financial literacy and helping budding entrepreneurs. She studied financial accounting at National University and received her degree in executive public administration, policy, and governance at the University of Washington. She’s held various financial positions from 1990 through 2009, including over 10 years with the FDIC. She is the founder of the Puget Sound chapter of the Urban Financial Services Coalition, the pre-eminent financial services organization that promotes the economic development of its members and minority communities at large.
She created eEnterprises with the intent of leading a change within the community by sharing what she’s been learning and discovering in her experience in business, education, and life. Her goal is to help students and young entrepreneurs discover their full potential in a manner that makes it more equitable for everyone.
Lizzie now focuses tirelessly on her volunteer work to empower youth in high schools by teaching financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and digital tools for businesses in the modern world.
